At the Sundance Film Festival on Thursday, the director said that he will use standard camera films for Star Wars. ‘It’s a classical movie, it happens a long time ago‘ Trevorrow joked about the movie. Christopher Nolan said that he is for film shooting and didn’t like the idea that digital is the future.

They’re going to have to get better and better as home entertainment systems get better,” said Nolan.
