Sylvester Stallone announced that he will take his red band off and will retire from the Rambo franchise.

In an interview with Variety, Stallone said that it’s time to move on and let go to the role of Rambo. “The heart’s willing, but the body says, stay home! It’s like fighters that go back for one last round and get clobbered. Leave it to someone else.” he said.

Stallone was in talks to came back for Rambo 5 (named Last Blood: Rambo), but it seems the actor changed his mind saying that he is satisfied with all the Rambo movies. “There’s nothing left. When they asked me to do another ‘Rambo,’ I said, ‘If I can’t do better than I did last time, and I can’t, then why?

For now, FOX channel is developing a new Rambo TV Show which concentrates on Rambo’s son, but Stallone is not in the project. You can see Sylvester Stallone in his last movie Creed in which he takes back the role of Rocky Balboa.
