Steam is a virtual limitless library and once you register a game it stays in your library forever,or so we thought. Many users, who possessed a large library, found it very tiring that they had to scroll down to the game they wanted to play, quite a lot. And even if you delete the game from your pc and uninstall it from steam,it kept showing in you library. Later on,last year,Valve added the option to hide away your unwanted games but even so they remained there, they only got categorized.
This been said, they made an option where you can delete your unwanted games. All you have to do is access Steam’s Help Section>”Games, Software, etc.”>select the game you want to get rid off>”I want to permanently remove this game from my account.”.
After this you’ll have to confirm and Steam is going to tell you to uninstall the game before deleting it or delete the files of the game afterwards. A pretty unnecessary option if you ask me,but maybe some of you will find this useful.
