Actress Charlize Theron from Mad Max: Fury Road and David Fincher (executive producer of “House of Cards”) will team up to make a new drama TV show called “Mindhunter” which will be available on Netflix.

Mindhunter is based on a book from 1996 written by Special Agent John Douglas and Mark Olshaker – “Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit” – which offers an insight from behind the scenes on one of the most important cases of Douglas carriere (because he captured some of the most abominable serial killers in history).
Fincher is already familiar with stories of some of the most famous criminals, he being behind of the acclaimed thriller Se7en and Zodiac.
Also, this is not the first time we hear about Mindhunter because Fincher tried to make this series a couple of times before. In fact, he and Charlize Theron had planned to bring the show to the small screen on HBO back in 2010.
